Biofeedback: how we teach body and mind to self-regulate
Sensors show on a screen what normally goes unnoticed: muscle tension, heart rhythm, stress level. This way you learn to influence your own reactions.
Modern training that teaches you to recognise and regulate your body's responses: tension, stress, concentration and sleep.
Biofeedback is a method in which sensors show on a screen what normally goes unnoticed: muscle tension, heart rhythm, stress level or brain activity. This way you learn to influence your own reactions. The method is non-invasive and suitable for children, teenagers and adults.
Gentle sensors are attached to the skin and you see the measurement live as a graph or a simple animation. When you manage to relax or calm your breathing, the picture confirms it at once. Over time the skills you practise settle in and work outside the practice too.
QEEG is a quantitative analysis of an EEG recording. By recording brain activity at many points at once (up to 22), a map of how the brain works is created. After the test you receive a written result with an explanation, and on that basis we plan the training.
It is a non-invasive method: the sensors only read signals from the body. Before we start we go over your health situation.
No. It complements psychotherapy and treatment recommended by a doctor; it does not replace them.
It depends on the goal and how your body responds. It is usually a series of sessions and we set the programme individually. Packages of 10 sessions are available with payment in 2 instalments at 0%.
