What does a psychotherapy session look like?
A conversation in a safe, discreet place, at your pace and without judgement.
Work on how you think, react to stress and behave, so that step by step you regain control of your life.
Addiction is not a matter of weak willpower. Therapy is meant to help you change the way you think, your habits and your reactions to stress, and to understand what function the addictive behaviour serves for you.
We meet one to one for 55-minute sessions. Together we set goals, recognise risk situations and learn new ways of coping with tension and emotions.
If needed, crisis intervention is possible, that is, quick support at a difficult moment.
